It’s a food trip again! Lee’s Tavern in Staten Island.
Their clam pizza bought us here because when I go to Staten Island I just want Michael’s parents’ cooking or his sister’s. Homecooked food is essential! However, Michael always wanted to try their clam pizza so I agreed to go.
We visited on an early Sunday afternoon this summer. It was a slow time for them I guess since it wasn’t packed. We ordered a few beers and of course the clam pizza we had to try. The employees are very friendly and the other people there were also friendly. It’s a family-run establishment and you feel that when you’re there.
This review won’t be a long one, I highly recommend going there for their clam pizza if that’s your thing. And their beer selection is spectacular!
