A Trip to Quaker Steak and Lube

March 26, 2019

By now if you’ve seen previous posts the “A Trip to a Place/Restaurant/City”
A Trip to is me telling you about my first visit to anywhere really, it could be a restaurant, bar, gym, hotel, city, town, fair, event, etc. Sharing all details and information I have with you!\, and hopefully if you’ve been to this place you’ll tell me things I can do or try the next time!

A Trip to Quaker Steak and Lube

So I went to Quaker Steak and Lube over 3 weeks ago. (Mid February 2019)

Quaker Steak and Lube is a car-themed chained restaurant that serves American food. It was the first time for my boyfriend and me. We went to the one in Edison, NJ at the Wick Shopping Plaza.

Our purpose for going there was to watch the Daytona 500 and explore a new place. And my boyfriend is always up for exploring and doesn’t mind driving far to explore things and food! You would think they would have a lot of Nascar Specials and promote the races but that wasn’t the case. It’s a car themed restaurant!

However, apart from the lack of specials and capitalization on the race, it is a really cool place. We seated ourselves at the bar near a TV.

Food and Drinks

The food was good, the drinks were awesome as well. I murdered a few of there pretzels! I really love soft baked pretzels. I very much apologize for not having a bunch of pictures of the food!

The Atmosphere and Decor

The atmosphere and decor was great. Cars and motorcycles hanging from the ceiling!

Final Thoughts on A Trip to Quaker Steak and Lube: I will definitely go back here! I just hope they somehow see my post and realize they need to capitalize on the Nascar races. I know it’s the Northeast BUT there are a bunch of people in this area who would love a place to go see the races outside of their homes. Like, check Reddit!
