Hey guys! I know you’ve seen the photos and I promised you a post about this so here you go! Your girl is here to let you know everything that’s worth knowing! This was a Michael trip! Apparently, they had a store he visited often with his parents and siblings. After a while, they ended up closing in the early to mid-2000s and now only do pop-ups once a year. He spoke about Raay-Nor’s Famous Chicken pop-up the first summer of the year we met (2018) but didn’t go. Last summer, he made it his mission to get me to try this chicken he raved about. The pop-up was at Maliblue Oyster Bar, so we took the drive to Lido Beach on Long Island from Manhattan.
I know one question is burning in your mind. Was it worth the trip? When I tell you It definitely was, please take it from me. We decided to stay at the bar and ended up ordering drinks and food to share. I’m not easily impressed by the food. I had the (type of chicken) chicken and for sides, I had (enter sides here) and let me say, they were absolutely delicious. Maliblue Oyster Bar had a great atmosphere. We expected a crowd but there was none until we were leaving. It’s safe to say we got there at the right time.
If you want delicious food and a great atmosphere, you’d definitely want to look into Raay-Nor’s Famous Chicken pop-ups.
