My Winter Skincare Routine

Hey guys! It’s yah girl Rhoda and I’m back with my winter skincare routine along with products. ‘Tis the season for alligator skin and NOBODY wants that (no offense to the alligators, hope we’re still cool). The only “imperfections” welcome on my face are my moles (i really do love them guys). I’m just going to jump right in and get to it!

In the morning I cleanse with the Shea moisture black soap (if I’m exfoliating that day I use my face brush to do that). For deeper cleansing, I use my Noxema deep cleansing cream. I use an equate brand exfoliation cleanser and rub it in with my hands (it’s super soft and gentle, that’s why I used my brush in the beginning). I then tone with witch hazel. After that dries I use tea tree oil (WARNING! It’s very drying so you can mix with rosehip oil *I don’t* just follow up with a very moisturizing cream). To moisturize, I use Ponds moisturizing face cream.

NOTE! On colder, dryer days (especially if you’re going to be out in the cold air) I use a little bit of Aloe Vera Gel right before the Ponds cream for extra moisture and protection.

For my skin, after a nice shower, I use my Neutrogena body oil on wet skin to lock in moisture. I put it on my body after I finish showering and still wet, then after I get out, I wipe my skin with a towel and my skin is moisturized without being oily or greasy.

I exfoliate my lips using a DIY lip scrub. Coconut oil and coarse brown sugar. Then I use my Vaseline lip therapy and for my hands when I’m out in the cold weather or when they just feel dry I use Neutrogena Hydro-boost gel hand cream.

That’s it, guys! That’s how I stop myself from looking like a reptile for the winter lol. I hope you enjoyed my winter skincare routine and if you try any of the products, be sure to let me know how they work for you
