Blogmas 2018 Day 7 – Reliving a Childhood Christmas Activity

December 7, 2018

A childhood Christmas activity during Christmas was driving around the island looking at the lovely over the top decorated houses, and wondering what their electricity bills looked like.

This year my boyfriend told me he’d take me around to view the lights. We started in Staten Island where there is a home that is over the top and just beautiful each year.

“DiMartino created the display in memory of his wife, Debra Ann, who fell victim to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack at the World Trade Center. Each year, he raises thousands of dollars for the Nalitt Institute’s Outpatient Children’s Cancer Unit at Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze. “ source SI Live

If you are in NY or even NJ this place is a must see if you have a love of outdoor Christmas decorations.
