So the Destination was Cave Point, County Park. Charlie came with us because it was his birthday weekend, and he loves the outdoors. We hopped in the car and we made a few stops.
Our first stop was Door 44 Winery. It did not disappoint! Everyone who works there was so happy and welcoming. The atmosphere is fun and light. It was in the low 70s and really comfortable as well. They had bottles of wine, of course, wine flight boards, and they even offer a build your own charcuterie board option as well. There was also cheese, this is Wisconsin after all. When we initially walked in, we were greeted and given all the details you could ever ask for. I felt like we were celebs. I also found out they have yoga in the vineyard starting in May. We left with three bottles of wine. And ended with taking Charlie on a quick walk around the outdoors.
Our second stop was Door County Candle Company. I didn’t take a lot of pictures here. I follow this company on Instagram and was curious to see what it looked like. I did get some awesome candles too.
The third stop was One Barrel Brewing Company. I regret eating all the food and then remembering to take a picture, it was amazing. We shared a pizza topped with provolone, bacon, and bacon jam. That’s about what I remember but that pizza was divine.
The next stop was our last destination. Cave Point County Park in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
This park was absolutely beautiful. The birthday dog had an awesome time.
