A Trip to Boone County Distilling Co

January 8, 2019

On our road trip, we visited another distillery on the way home. The Boone County Distilling Co in Kentucky. This distillery makes whiskey!

The tour and tasting last about 45 minutes and costs $8/person, we didn’t have much time to wait for the next tour to start when they ended with the tasting. So we had a tasting, had a cocktail and then joined the group on the tour.

The Tasting

We had Tanner’s Curse, 1833 and Bourbon Cream which is my absolute favorite. My boyfriend bought a few bottles of the Bourbon Cream, it is a like Irish Cream but soo much better. Hopefully, we’ll create some recipes and share with you guys.

Here are some of their recipes they shared with us. We also enjoyed cocktails and waited for the tour to begin

I have noticed my views are incredible on this ongoing “A Trip to…” series. Which is absolutely amazing. Thank you guys for all the support. If there’s a place you’d like me to visit and tell you about let me know. (The Northeast USA Region Preferred)
