I haven’t posted in about 8 months. I was taking a bit of a break and working on my jewelry company as well as my IT career. I was also adjusting to the move and this just became a bit too much for me.
I visited Leinenkugels Brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin with Michael this summer en route to a Zac Brown Band concert in Minnesota. This was my first visit to a Wisconsin brewery that included a tour. It was a great experience especially since this was a spontaneous visit. Our visit was on a Friday (please note tour types differ depending on what day you go)
The tour started at the Leinie Lodge, which is filled with historical photos, vintage brewing equipment, and plenty of Leinie’s wearables and collectibles for purchase. As part of the tour, you get four free drink tokens to sample your favorite Leinenkugel beer. The drinks are five ounces. The beer was cold and so yummy, you can also mix and match any flavor on tap. They also came up with some very exciting mixes.
We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about brewing beer and about this awesome state we now live in.
